In my opinion, parental relations are above all other
relations. Your parents are the cause of your existence today. They are
responsible for taking care of you, nurturing you and making you what you are
capable of doing today. In my family, we always value relationships a lot. I
have been thought by my parents to value and nurture relationships as they are
priceless.
I have various experiences of having memorable time together
with my friends, family etc. In this article, I would like to share a truly
memorable experience which I spent with my loved ones.
In my family, it is a kind of ritual that we always go on an
outstation family trip at least ones a year. We always make sure that there is
at least one such trip every year. It brings all the family members closer and
strengthens the family bonds. All the family members take time from their busy
schedule, come together, plan a short trip of 5-6 days to any popular tourist
destination and enjoy it thoroughly. Usually the trip planning and bookings are
done by youngsters of the family including me.
Around 5 years back, my family went on one such trip which
was one of the most memorable trip of my life. We were around 15 people
together consisting of my parents, uncles, aunts and my cousins. We decided to
go to Goa for the trip. Since I had heard a lot about Goa from my friends and I
was going there for the first time, so I was very excited.
Finally we reached Goa by train on the desired date. We went
to the hotel which was already booked, refreshed and went out for sightseeing.
We really enjoyed the scenic beauty of Goa. We visited
almost all popular beaches in Goa, temples, churches and various other popular
tourist attractions like spice farm and also the famous Dudhsagar waterfalls (
I think thats the one which was featured in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie
“Chennai Express” directed by Rohit Shetty.)
All of us especially me and my cousins had a gala time. We
had loads of fun chit-chatting, teasing each other, clicking pictures, roaming
all around Goa etc. We didn’t even know when the 6 day trip came to an end.
This was one of the most memorable moments when I spent time with my cousins
and other family members. This trip would remain in my memory forever.
I would request all my blog readers to spend more and more
quality time with their friends, family and people which matter most in their
lives. In today’s materialistic world, we tend to easily ignore these things
but believe me; such moments are truly memorable and priceless!
I would like to mention a very good quote by actor Michael
J. Fox. He says “Family is not an important thing. It's everything.”
